Rose Bartiss will be presenting Goat Night: Part 2 at Ward Lumber in Jay, NY on June 4, 2013. Presentation topics will be breeding, kidding, and milking. I will talk about the selection of breeding stock (what a good goat looks like), breeding mechanics (heat cycles, sexual maturity, mating, etc), kidding (signs of labor, when to assist, what to do with mom and the kids), and milking (how to milk, milking sanitation, milking issues).
